subcutaneous injection instructions
Wash your hands thoroughly and dry them completely.
Wipe the injection site. Let the area dry before injecting.
STEP 1: UNPACK B12 CONTENTS

Contents: B12 Injector, syringe and needle.

Unpack the needle and remove from its protective packaging.
STEP 2: Prepare the syringe components

Remove cap from syringe by holding syringe firmly and twisting cap counter-clockwise. Discard cap.

Gently but firmly attach unwrapped needle to syringe by inserting syringe into back end of the needle and twisting in a clockwise motion.

Leave needle capped until
step 4! When uncapping syringe be aware the needle is extremely sharp and must be handled with great care and caution.
STEP 3: ENGAGING THE FIRING MECHANISM

Disassemble injector by unscrewing Part A counter-clockwise from Part B.

Place the tip of Part A against the plunger inside injector body of Part B Push firmly up inside injector body until you hear a click. Set Part B aside.
STEP 4: INSERTING THE SYRINGE INTO INJECTOR

Gently and carefully insert uncapped syringe into large end of Part A.

Gently and carefully insert the plunger of the syringe into Part B taking care not to touch the firing button.

Reassemble injector by screwing Part A clock-wise from Part B. DO NOT overtighten and DO NOT touch the firing button.
STEP 5: INJECT YOUR B12

Select an injection site. Subcutaneous* injections can be given in the arms, legs, or lower abdomen.
*It is important to rotate injection site to keep skin healthy. A subcutaneous injection is given in the fatty layer of the tissue just underneath the skin. -
Firing the Self-Injector: Place injector against skin and apply slight pressure. The injector body moves towards the syringe housing until the red indicator disappears. This releases safety interlock so the firing button can be pressed.

Press the firing button. Hold device against the skin for 5 seconds to allow the contents of the injection to be completed. The injection is completed when the yellow indicator has come to a stop.
